The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Abuakwa North Municipal Assembly Hon Charles Darko Yeboah has led the assembly to donate a 900-litre freezer to the New Tafo Government Hospital.
The MCE was accompanied by Dr Nelson Odoi Banning,CEO of Nelsban palace Hotel during the brief presentation ceremony.
The donation followed a request from the hospital for support to improve food storage at its kitchen department. After receiving the formal appeal, the MCE fulfilled the promise by presenting the freezer to the hospital.
Receiving the item on behalf of the hospital, the Chief superintendent and staff expressed their appreciation to the MCE and Dr Odoi Banning for the support.
According to them, the freezer will help preserve food items properly and enhance service delivery to patients at the hospital.
