Osiem, New Tafo and Kukurantumi – Following the District Level Elections which elected new Assembly and Unit Committee members in December 2019, and in line with its capacity building policy, a three day training programme was organized for members of all three Zonal Councils, Osiem, New Tafo and Kukurantumi and their Unit committees to equip them with skills to perform their functions. They were trained on the Roles, Duties and Expectations of the Unit Committee and Zonal Council members. The various sub-topics were handled by the Municipal Coordinating Director, the Municipal Planning Officer, the Municipal HR Director, the Municipal Internal Auditor, Municipal Finance Officer and the Municipal Budget Officer. Questions, concerns and suggestions of participants were addressed during the open forum sessions.
