MCE FAMILIARIZATION TOUR TO THE INSTITUTIONS AND DEPARTMENTS IN THE MUNICIPALITY

The MCE of Abuakwa North Municipal Assembly, Hon. Charles Darko Yeboah on 23rd May, 2025 commenced his familiarization tour to the institutions and departments within the Municipality. He was accompanied by the Municipal Coordinating Director, Mr. Emil Atsu, Human Resource Manager, Mr. Ebenezer Ghartey and other officers from the assembly.

 

This exercise is to enable the MCE know every institution and department and where they are operating from as well as ascertaining their challenges confronting the various institutions.

 

A number of challenges were raised by the various institutions and departments visited and the MCE assured them that the assembly will collaborate with them and resolve the challenges in order to provide good working environment to boost productivity as well as the resetting agenda.

 

The institutions and departments visited were; Ghana Police Service, Akim New- Tafo- Charge office, Electricity Company of Ghana – New Tafo, New Tafo Revenue Office, Environmental Health Office – New tafo, Office of The Administrator of Stool Lands – New Tafo, Birth and Death, Ghana Water Company – New Tafo, Cocoa Research Institute of Ghana – New Tafo, New Tafo Government Hospital, National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE) – New Tafo, Department of Agriculture and National Ambulance Service – New Tafo.
