Municipal wide – Tuesday, September 10, 2019: The Municipal Education Directorate undertook ‘My First Day at School’ Programme to welcome and interact with the pupils who have been admitted into KG, Basic School One and JHS One.
In all, 11 Schools within the Municipality were visited by a team from the Education Directorate. Present at the occasion were the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Owusu Twum-Ampofo and the Member of Parliament, Hon. Gifty Twum-Ampofo, who encourage the pupils to study hard to achieve the aims set out for themselves.
Exercise Books, pencils, erasers, crayon and other essential learning materials were presented to the pupils in all the classes visited. In all, 197 pupils were present during the event and they benefited from the items which were distributed.
