My First Day at School is a Nationwide Exercise set aside to welcome new entrants into KG 1 and Primary 1.The exercise was also commemorated in all the five circuits across the Municipality with the Schools Improvement Support Officers (SISOs) spearheading the exercise in their various circuits while the Municipal Coordinating Director and her entourage visited selected schools.
The following materials were distributed to the pupils (new entrants) – chocolates, plastic cups, soft drinks, biscuits, pencils, sharpeners, exercise books, slate and school uniforms.
Messages shared was to encouraged pupils to be regular and punctual to school and teachers were advised to be friendly and nice to their pupils
